Rangitikei River | Bulls to Vinegar Hill | 7 December 2025
The river is in pristine condition and this will be a fantastic run so forget the Xmas shopping and get the boat out.
This is open to all members and potential new members (please give us a heads up if you are not a members and want to come so we can look after you).
The Rangitikei River is mostly single channel, with a few braids in the lower reaches. The river is currently in low (ish) flow, so it will be good boating amongst very scenic countryside.
Launching is at Bulls, on the Ohakea side of the river. Please have your boat in the water by 10am, ready for a quick briefing.
It's a 56km run up to Vinegar Hill where we will stop for lunch. There are toilets available in the public reserve at Vinegar Hill, so this a great day out for the whole family
